Ann, congratulations on the creation of your blog! Your long stitch book looks wonderful, I didn’t get a chance to see it finished in the drop-in. We must give credit to Judy Melvin for coining the phrase Sink Art, and to her book Art Expose where I first saw the technique described.
    Good luck with the blog,
    Karen

Thanks Karen, and thank you for giving Judy Melvin her due credit. I really had fun with this technique. In the next few days I will be posting some pics of earlier on in the process.

  3. Just to keep the record straight: I have NEVER before “commented” on any website. Ever. At any time. But I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the site and the instructions. The finished product is indeed very striking. All the best.

  4. Ann,
I love how you documented the process! I, too, did some work at home at the laundry sink in a very cold basement. Next time I’ll pay attention to assembling the supplies and use some sort of plastic sheeting to contain the mess! Can’t wait to see how you add beasties to the beautiful paper in your book!

  5. Love the beasties! The discipline it takes to let one out of the bottle EVERY DAY – oh my! Add to that blogging – you are a driven woman! Great shots of the sink art process! Thanks, Randy
